Als Komponist Don Peake die Musik für die Show von Stu Phillips übernahm, wollte er das Eröffnungsthema neu aufnehmen. Er nahm es tatsächlich neu auf, aber die Verantwortlichen im Studio entschieden, das Original zu behalten. Über 40 Jahre lang galt diese Aufnahme als verloren ... bis jetzt!

Its so cool how we can aquire some of these tracks from the show. If your a real fan of Knight Rider especially the music. This is totally worth it! I only wish it was remastered CD quality and not in its raw form.
Enjoyed the theme but it's not as good as the original. If anything there's too much of the original in there.
Don Peake's 1983 Knight Rider Theme
Don Peak arrangement sounds more as symphonic music. Orginal arrangement sounds like synth pop.
Macgyver series started with full on synthesizer music and when I asume budget got bigger they rerecoded theme song with Orchestra for newer sessions.
