When composer Don Peake took over scoring the show from Stu Phillips, he wanted to re-record the opening theme. He did re-record it, but the executives at the studio decided to keep the original. For over 40 years, this recording had been thought lost...until now!

I did really like Don's re-composed theme but trying to visualize it playing with the season two opening. I think it would work great for the start but as the narrative theme goes along I think it would fall out of place with the intro scenes.
Excellent version of the knight rider theme. Still sounds even today great. Would like the knight rider historians to create a opening video sequence with this theme. Keep up the good work Joe, AJ and the team
It's a good theme but it the caps are too big for a ringtone I think I can cut it down more then it is for it but I been a knight rider fan since born I have all the dvd sets
