Back in the 80's, KITT would travel the country and show up at local malls, Autoramas and World of Wheels car shows. The car on display would usually have an audio loop running of KITT talking about his various functions. Here is that audio clip, voiced by William Daniels himself and recorded in 1983! 7 minutes long.

KITT car show audio

This is truly amazing. I always remembered this loop from when I saw KITT in Buffalo NY in, I want to say 1988 ish. I always wanted a copy of it. It brings me back. My mom took me to the convention center and from the moment I got there I took off running towards KITT. No other car there mattered to me. I saw his scanner and heard the audio loop. I was in a trance. The car I watched and loved now in front of me and the audio loop playing. I could have stayed there all day! Having this brings me back to such a happy time. One man or one audio loop can make a difference.
Thank you Knight Rider Historians for making this a reality. You guys are truly amazing!!
